A name or location entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its response. We do not retain or log those search terms on our systems.

The published material identifies how to request Salem County records from local agencies, New Jersey courts, the New Jersey State Police State Bureau of Identification, and the New Jersey Sex Offender Internet Registry. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not turned into a consumer report or a file about another person.
